Offered in this kit are (4) ABEC-7 Hybrid Ceramic Orange Seal ball bearings. These fishing reels are all great to begin with, imagine when you replace the standard factory bearings with high quality ABEC-7 Hybrid Ceramic for optimum performance. The drive gear and pinion gear bearings are the key ingredients in making a reel perform the way it should, upgrading them with the best quality bearings in existence only accentuates the end result. ABEC-7 Hybrid Ceramic Orange Seal bearings have ceramic balls, stainless steel races and retainers. They have a non-contact rubber seal which allows the bearing to spin freely without any excess drag. Ceramic will never corrode; it has less rolling resistance and is lighter than steel. As a result, ceramic bearings last longer and cast further. All Ceramic Orange Seal bearings are supplied dry (LD), no grease or oil. Lube can be supplied upon request.
