This is a wireless thermometer with two display units. It can be used to remotely monitor the temperature of a stove pipe, a chimney in a multi-story home or outdoor wood boiler. For stove/chimney, the wireless feature provides you the ability to monitor the stove temperature remotely. You can place the sending unit near the stove in the basement and the monitoring unit upstairs.
For outdoor wood boilers, the wireless feature gives you the ability to monitor the boiler's water temperature remotely. You can attach the probe to the boiler water line to monitor the temperature of the water. Both units have the temperature display and alarm buzzer. The wireless unit eliminates the need for a long sensor cable that is difficult to install and less reliable. It also allows you to read the temperature either by the stove/wood boiler, or remotely.
One display unit is the remote monitor unit (AT210-B), can monitor temperature reading from one or up to 10 thermometer units (AT210-A). The thermometer unit (AT210-A) should be placed on-site where the stove is located. This unit has a port to take input signal from the temperature probe. There is also a 12VDC output port to power external buzzer (not included). Both of thermometer and remote monitor units have a built-in buzzer. The meter contains two alarm settings for the buzzer. One alarm can be used for high limit alarm and other can be used for low fuel alarm. This gauge is powered by 12V DC through an AC adapter (included) for continuous operation. It can also be powered by car battery.
