Full Wading Breather kit
A new breather modification kit specially designed to fit BOTH the 200 and 300 Tdi engines in all models of vehicle.
When engines go into water the cold makes the air in the cam belt case, axles and gearboxes contract and suck air or water in past the seals and up the standards breather pipes which are set to low. Water and dirt in the cam belt will then cause wear, failure of the cam belt and engine damage, water in your oils is just bad news.
What you get in the kit
A replacement front diesel pump cover that is modified (not just a hole that you drill and a nut you have to hope misses the injection pump gear or then comes loose and falls in to the cam belt) with a push fit coupling that take the breather pipe supplied.
New fittings for the 2 axles (we have noticed that corrosion builds up here and blocks the standards banjo fitting at the axle making them useless)
New fittings to secure on to the gearbox and transfer box pipes to lengthen
2 into 1 fittings to make the need for countless pipes running under the vehicle and a better finished job
2 wading plugs for the bell housing and the cam belt housing.
