The fault shows as all lights flashing at the same time, and will have got steadily worse over time.

The circuit board is located behind the rear panel. Remeber that there is 240vac in here. UNPLUG, and leave it alone for an our before touching! - The main capacitor can hold charge for a while!

The circuit board has a 680uF 10v capacitor, which will have a swollen top, indicating that it is "blown".

This is a fairly simple repair, which can be undertaken by most DIYer's.

De-solder the existing capacitor, taking note of which side has the stripe, so you can get the polarity right, then solder in the new one.

Tools required!

Soldering Iron, Screwdriver, and a little solder.
