Please read carefully as it shows where it fits, and what EGR valve
  Thanks for looking.
This fits the  Diesel JTD 1.3 L (1,248 cc) also known as the 1.3 Multijet  This blanking plate is made from 1.5mm 304 Stainless Steel, and has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface to get a better seal. It gives a cleaner pickup at lower revs because it stops exhaust gas being recycled, especially if it is dirty or jammed open. It can put on the engine management light, but will not put it into limp mode. I also list it with a hole in - item number 121481365771 to keep the light/warning from coming on. The light can also come on if the throttle body is broken, and a plate fitted, very common on these engines. The plate fit's between the cylinder head and the EGR valve, at the back of the engine directly below the throttle body  (2bolts). It is slotted to make is easier to fit, as it is not simple to get at. The tag is so a pair of long nose pliers can be used to fit it. The EGR valve doesn't need to be removed, just the 2 bolts loosened. It does NOT fit between the EGR valve and the EGR cooler (3 bolts). This I have listed as items number 121139008166 and 111113854476 that has a hole in.

It only fits the type of EGR valve pictured and is the Euro 4 engine. Will not fit the Euro5 ( Multijet ll )  which are fitted with a motorized valve that is set in a cast Aluminium water cooled unit. Item numbers 111755424729 and 111755392799 for them.

   1.  Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.

   2.  Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs

   3.  Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power

   4.  Smoother drive, and quite often better economy

   5.  Will help it pass the MOT, as it helps lower the black soot output, which is checked for (UK)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR DIESEL ONLY, NOT PETROL ENGINE'S

All plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the repeated mistakes or Chinese drop shops), and have no idea about car engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic of some years.
