ZZPerformance 2.5" Performance Resonator / Muffler

We used to buy Magnaflow 12866 for this specific size muffler and they kept lowering the quality and jacking up their price year after year.  Their straight thru design was just not doing the job we wanted for the drone and rasp, so we went to our in house design team to come up with a triple chamber straight design that reduces the drone and rasp that took hundreds of hours of dyno tuning, street driving, track driving, etc to come up with a nice sounding resonator.  Then after we got the sound we wanted we put them on several of our own vehicles for a couple years to make sure they held up to our high horsepower standards.

Basically a universal design that can fit in any part of your exhaust system that has a straight piping area that is less than 20 inches long.  The body is 14" long with 3" of 2.5" piping on the ends.  We highly recommend having this welded into your system.  Some people like to clamp in, but after time the clamps will end up failing.

Most companies call this a round muffler, but we use them as a resonator.  Most aftermarket exhaust system you buy may be too loud or has a raspy drone sound.  This will help reduce that rasp and reduce the excess sound level without reducing power.  This is a straight through triple chamber design.  Total length including the 2.5"" inlet and outlet piping is 20".  The body length without the ends is 14".
