Since Levi's invented it in 1873, the 501 Jean has been a blank canvas for self-expression. The iconic straight fit with signature button fly, the 501 Jean sits at the waist and is regular through the thigh with a straight leg. To celebrate 100 years of partnership with Cone Mills Denim in North Carolina, this pair is handcrafted with premium selvedge denim and cut and sewn in the states. Selvedge comes from the term 'self-edge', the woven strip on both edges of a roll of fabric. It's traditionally woven on narrow-width shuttle looms, producing a clean edge and signature stitching, unique to stitching. Features distressed detailing on back pocket.
