Dual Symmetrical Power Supply PCB Only DIY For Audio Amp Etc.

This listing is for a Printed Circuit Board on which you can build a high quality dual symmetrical power supply.

Designed in the UK on a top quality dual layer PCB. Perfect for powering up an audio amplifier or crossover filter etc. 

Board dimensions: 90mm x 45mm x 1.6mm.

To assemble the board you will need a two 3-way 5mm terminal blocks, four rectifier diodes and four electrolytic capacitors. There is also provision for six optional capacitors for reducing RF emissions. All these items are very easy and cheap to source on eBay. Wires can be soldered straight to the PCB or 5.08mm 3-way terminal blocks can be used.

For your convenience, we have given you a choice of THREE mounting hole sizes - 4mm, 3.5mm and 2.9mm.

Anyone with basic soldering skills can build this item. 

Recommended components:

4 x 2200uF 50V electrolytic capacitors.

4 x 100nF 50V ceramic capacitors.

2 x 10nF 50V capacitors.

4 x 1N5401 rectifier diodes.

2 x 3 way 5mm terminal blocks (not essential, can solder wires to board if preferred).

You will need a dual-output transformer, maximum 2 x 25V to power the board.

Because mains electricity is involved, we recommend this kit is assembled by qualified DIYers only. Also for your safety, we recommend the PCB and transformer are installed in a secure enclosure. For your added safety, if you wish to use a metal enclosure an earthing point is available on the board.
