This listing is for an Antique Sarough / Sarouk Oriental Rug / Carpet .
It measures 104 inches by 142 inches .
It is made from high quality wool pile on a cotton foundation.
It is in perfect condition.
The colors include but not limited to reds, Blues, Greens, Yellows, ivory, gold, brown, pink, and many other colors. Fantastic Jewel Tone Colors.
They almost goes with just about any setting.
It has been soak washed by a textile conservator before 2015 and has been kept in quarantine since.
The Images are taken before the rug was soak washed . It looks 1000 time more brilliant after wash. Time permitting I will rephotograph after wash.
Both ends have and show overcast fringes. The overcast fringes have been taken out as the original ones were intact.
It is rare to find Antique Sarouk Rugs in mint condition.
