The creative team originally set out to tell the amazing life story of Sydney born, blind triathlete Ched Towns.It didn’t take long for them to realize that the relationship Ched has with his wife Judy (or DOODIE as he affectionately calls her) is your classic Aussie love story.
This intimate insight into a successful and tight knit family film took over 2 years to make. Editor Megan Turner had the unenviable task of cutting down over 80 hours of footage to 53 minutes.

Shooting occurred in Sydney,Brisbane,the Himalayan Mountains,the wartime jungle trails of New Guinea with dramatic highlights at the World Championship Triathlon in Kona-Hawaii.

This program carries a sporting theme about a family born and bred in Penrith a Sydney suburb. This superb documentary has won the hearts of people throughout the world.
