The shade cloth is 200gsm (grams per sq metre) but has a 'tape filler' which gives it the full 90% UV rating without being too heavy in weight. Ironstone shade cloth is well known and sold Australia wide having been designed for the harsh Australian conditions. It is very hard wearing and suitable for a wide range of applications.
Universal 90% is not designed for tension applications such as shadesails but it is perfect for most jobs around the home including for example covering a pegola or providing a privacy screen.
When you are using Universal 90% for privacy note that lighter colours including Sandstone, Light Grey or Light Green are more effective than dark colours such as Black or Slate. This is because the light coloured fabric reflects back light rather than absorbing it making it more difficult to see through.

We recommend an address that has a safe spot to leave the item or there will be someone there to sign for the delivery.
