This is a brand new unit that is very easy to install - instructions included. It comes with everything you need to have your lights converted, no extra parts or special modifications required. MORE ABOUT HID LIGHTING:

HID lighting kits are designed to replace the factory head light globes in your car. The main parts in the kit are the ballasts and the bulbs. The ballasts convert the standard 12V power to a much higher voltage and the special bulbs will use that power to emit 3 times the light output of a standard halogen globe. In the end, they actually draw less power and create less heat due to the high efficiency of the system. With a prewired harness that is water resistant and easy to set up, these kits install quickly into almost any car.
