Israel Official Mint Coins Set 1982 / 5742
Description:
This 1982 5742 series was issued to commemorate the 34th anniversary of the State of Israel. Also this series was issued in the Piefort system (double thickness) as was the 1981 5741 series.
This series comprises six coins, the five from the 1981 5741 issue plus an additional coin, the 5 sheqel. The 1982 5742 series of coins were not decorated.
From then on the details referring to the 5 sheqel coin are Piefort (the regular coin).
