Date stamps can be taken off. This item isn't waterproof however see below. I planted one outside and protected it inside of an old light and it did just the job.
If you don't have a memory card dont worry it'll save motion pictures on the CLOUD in the app (pictures only without SD card). Motion can be set by choosing "MOTION" then choose how sensitive you want it. If you wish to record videos on motion you need to go to SD CARD CONFIG and choose "RECORD ON ALARM" please make sure any SD card you put inside of the item is in before you turn on, and formatted also don't use knock off cards as we get so many people realising they've been scammed by fake memory, if in doubt buy a card from us or a branded shop.
