This filter comes boxed with full instructions and connects internally to your LG fridge. This filter is used to provide the fridge and ice maker with filtered water. 

Carbon Filter

Improves taste and odour of the water. Removes high levels of Rust and Sediment and chemicals including Chlorine, Organic Chemicals and Pesticides from the water. Provides great tasting water to your icemaker and water dispenser. Carbon within the filter is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for chlorine taste and odour reduction.
