By popular request from our "less tall" Vmax riders, our FC18 are 3" less stretch than our popular FC9 Forward Controls. Now anyone, any height, can enjoy a comfortable ride on their Vmax 1200!

A billet aluminum forward control kit for Yamaha V-max 1200 85-07.  Will not work for 2008 & up VMax.

This is a complete kit with all hardware and linkage.

They move your controls forward 11".  (If you are 5' 10" or taller, please check out our FC9 14" forward controls)

11" sounds like a lot, but considering how far back they were, these forwards are in a comfortable position for even shorter riders!

This is a complete kit, left and right sides!

Your stock foot pegs will NOT work, but you can use about any foot peg that mounts using a 1/2" bolt, such as the Comfort Foot Pegs we offer here.

They mount on existing bolt locations on your frame so there's no need to drill any holes. 

This is a 1-2 hour, bolt on project. 

Detailed instructions with pictures make this an easy project for the do-it-yourselfer.  Our instructions are online and can be viewed on your smartphone, tablet or computer or you can print them out if you prefer.

They do NOT require replacement or extension of the brake line, so no need to bleed brakes or mess with fluid.
