Install guide (you can refer the website pictures.it’s with large size picture more detail):

Step 1:install 5 screws + shorter Copper pillars to the bottom panel .

Step 2:put the PCB board on the bottom’s shorter copper pillars.

Step 3:use the longer copper pillars lock the PCB board.

Step 4:Wire transformer to PCB board

Step 5:use 2 small  screws lock the tranformer

Step 6:put the 4 SIDE panels to the bottom panel,and install the tube .

Step 7,put the TOP panel on the box ,after use screw lock it.

Q&A about the hum problem

Q: I got a loud hum with this T10 phono preamp

A:About the hum noise. At first, we must to know. All phono preamp with some back noise, but it’s isn’t loud. just like the TYPE RECORDER player,but a little more louder. That’s normal.because it’s pure analog preamp.the back noise can’t be work as the CD player which is Digital player.

OK.let’s back to the question, please do not test the T10’s back noise in “PAUSE” mode. Just playing the music , and turn your power amplifier volume to normal listen music level.(usually turn up about 10~30% ,because this T10 with high gain output,)., If in this normal sound level . the back noise still very loud. That’s mean this T10 isn’t work well, please try below steps to find out which step wrong and try to solve the problem,

1,Reason A:T10 isn’t connect to really ground, confirm it by follow step

when you listen the music. use your finger touch the T10’s GND point(it’s between both INPUT/OUTPUT interface),if the hum get to lower. that's mean your T10 isn't connect to a really ground yet. please re-connect it to a really ground. about how to connect it to a really ground. You can google it. Many ways . you could find a easy and best way for you.

2,Reason B: T10 not match for you amplifier

  Sometimes. Some of digital amplifier can’t perfect work with T10,because some of digital amplifier isn’t accept connect to a really ground, you can try to use T10 with other amplifier test it again. Usually the analog amplifier will work very well.test it and you will find out which device problem.

3,Reason C: EMI filter broken or not in correct connect. (just for V2.2 version.)

4,Reason D:Test the hum in wrong ways.

Please confirm your amplifier style. is it a Diginal amplifier or normal AV amplifier. because sometimes. T10 can't work perfact for some digital amplifier. you can try to connect it to other amplifier test it again if you has other amplifier.

Q: T10 can’t turn ON. without any tube light up

A: 1,Check your transformer wire connect. Make sure is as the picture connect correct.

2,the power cable broken,3,the transformer broken.

Q: Just the smaller one tube(6z4) or 3 x 6N2(12AX7) tube can’t light up.

A: 1,usually is one of tube broken. You can check it by yourself. Just look into the tube inside. If you found some flog inside the tube. Most that tube is broken.

2,the transformer broken.if you with multi-meter. You can test the transformer voltage output. 2 groups, 15VAC,6.3Vac,(TIPS:setup your multi-meter in AC mode)
