We only use what we believe are the very best connectors in our Extension Leads and Adaptors. The BS/EN/IEC 60309 Connectors are of the Austrian brand 'PCE'. The rugged BS 1363/A Plug 'Masterplug'. We never use cheap / flimsy 'Far Eastern' items that barely meet specifications and are, quite frankly, just not up to the job.

We always use 1.5mm sq H07RN-F Cable in our 13A Extension Cables. Besides being more rugged, at times, cables end up being 'daisychained' or used in conjunction with other adaptors or splitters and, over long runs, the thinner cable can lead to unacceptable voltage drops. 

All our wiring products are Safety Tested and Certified in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for In Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment on the day of dispatch so are ready to be put straight into service.
