Lamp DRSH 100-2 is an arc mercury ball ultra-violet ultra-high pressure lamp with natural cooling.

The mercury-quartz lamp ДРШ 100-2 works in continuous mode on direct current and is intended for operation in light-beam oscilloscopes, optical instruments, for laboratory works, and also as spare parts for various laboratory and medical equipment.

Lamp DRSH 100-2 is supplied in the climatic version of UHL allocation category 4.2 according to GOST 15150-69.

When the DRSH 100-2 lamp is turned on, the polarity of the electrodes must be observed - the terminal with the "+" sign (anode) is connected to the positive pole of the power supply.

Forced cooling of the DRSH 100-2 lamp during its operation is not allowed and in the steady state in a closed volume, the maximum air temperature at a distance of 50 mm from the glass of the bulb in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the lamp should not exceed 250 ° C.

Re-ignition of the DRSH 100-2 lamp is possible within 5 minutes from the moment it was turned off.

After not less than 7 minutes after ignition, the DPSh 100-2 lamp reaches the output parameters specified in Table 1 at a nominal power of 100 W.

It is allowed to use a DC power source with an idling voltage of 60-120 V. In this case, a ballast resistance limiting the lamp current of 6-8 A is connected in series with the DPSH 100-2 lamp. The lamp is ignited by applying voltage to the lamp electrodes. Then to the bulb of the lamp it is necessary to bring the electrode of the inductor and switch on the latter for a time not more than 30 s. The spark length of the inductor should be 10-15 mm. After the occurrence of an independent discharge in the lamp, the inductor is switched off.

The quartz glass of the lamp bulb DRSH 100-2 easily loses its transparency when its surface is contaminated, for example, from touching hands, from moisture, etc. Therefore, before switching on the lamp, it is necessary to wipe the flask with gauze moistened with alcohol.

Working near the lamp DRSH 100-2 personnel, equipment and combustible substances should be protected from getting into them hot splinters of bulbs in case of its rupture.

Attention! - When using the DRSH 100-2 lamp, measures should be taken to protect personnel from the effects of ultraviolet radiation.
