Item Description

Nice unique double faced scale for your collection or to use again.  Probably from the 1910s to 1930s, our best guess, you be the judge.   Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself!

Beautiful cast iron base on this scale.  The scale was made by a company called Jacobs Brothers of New York, NY.  The scale has a 10 pound capacity.  The scale has a paper dial on both sides.  Some finish loss to the scale face.

The scale has a gold colored cast iron base.  All the base is intact and original, no repairs or broken pieces to note.  Some loss of the gold paint to the base.  The glass is in place over both of the paper faces as well. Nice red metal pointer on both sides.

The rectangular brass pan is 17-7/8" in length by 13" wide.  The brass pan has some dings to it and shows some finish loss.  

What you see here is what you get.  Not an expert in scales, so not sure if anything is missing or not.

The scale is 23.25" across, by 12" tall, by 13" wide.  There is no representation being made that this scale is in working order.  Also, it has not been calibrated in any manner, as not in balance now.  No weights come with this scale.  Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.

• Items will be shipped via USPS or UPS Ground, based on the buyer's preference.

• UPS/USPS tracking number will be provided.

• Special shipping requests can be communicated and agreed upon at the time of sale.

If an item is shipped to a country outside of the United States, the buyer is responsible for any brokerage, tariffs, taxes, customs, or other charges imposed by that country.  The seller reserves the right to choose the international  shipping carrier based on shipping method selected at the time of payment.  The seller will not understate the value of any item on customs forms.

 

If you purchase or win more than one auction in which the items can safely be shipped together, we will send you a combined invoice.

Returns Policy

• Returns are accepted by seller within 30 days of receipt of item by buyer under the eBay Buyer Protection Program, where an item is not as described.  The Buyer will be assessed a 10% restocking fee should they decide to return this item for whatever the reason.
• In accordance with eBay's Buyer Protection Program, the purchase price plus original shipping cost will be refunded to the buyer once the item has been received by the seller minus the 10% restocking fee noted.
• Buyer would pay for the return shipping cost and any applicable insurance cost (item is the buyer's financial responsibility until the item is safely returned to the seller by shipper).
