New Year’s eve might be imminently upon us, but China’s big celebration isn’t too far away either. January 27 marks Chinese New Year, and adidas has decided to celebrate the Year of the Rooster with a surprise Ultra Boost 3.0 drop.

The one-off sneaker features a black and red primeknit upper with murdered out black cage overlay and heel counter. As ever, Boost sole technology is incorporated for maximum comfort, while a Continental outsole provides additional grip. A dope “CNY” logo is then applied to the tongue, further marking out the Boost as a one-of-its-kind collectible.
