This winter liner will upgrade your summer Bern helmet with a winter helmet liner.

This is the Bern Winter Knit Zip Mold liner.

The Bern Winter helmet liner allows you to upgrade your summer skate or bike Bern helmet for winter use.

This liner has a woven outer section and fleece lined ear pads to keep you warm out on the slopes The upper part of the liner is thin but cosy inside your helmet so will fit just the same as in the summer mode.

The liner uses small male poppers to clip into place, with velcro pads for fine adjustment, just un-clip your summer liner, then fit this when it is cold

This liner can be easily removed from you helmet so you can wash it to help keep your helmet fresh. This is the Velcro Fit version which has an adjustable strap on the back to ensure a perfect fit every time.

Which Bern Construction Do I Have?

 EPS Thin Shell

Thin Shell (EPS) helmets fully certified for skate, bike and snow use. EPS stands for expanded polystyrene so these helmets look like tough polystyrene with a plastic shell molded to the outside. Your helmet should have a label inside stating its construction. If not, check the images for this listing to see if it looks the same as your helmet. EPS helmets have male poppers on the inside of the helmet and female poppers on the helmet liner. Thin Shell (EPS) helmets should have the word 'Sink Fit' written on the back of the helmet. Thin Shell (EPS) is available in the Bern Baker, Watts, Macon, Muse, Lenox and Brighton.

Hard Hat (Brock Foam)

Hard Hat (Brock Foam) is unique to Bern ad is a porous, more maliable slightly squishy impact foam with a tough plastic shell attached to it. Brock Foam keeps you cooler as it is breathable and allows moisture to exit through it helping you stay dry too. Your helmet should have a label inside stating its construction. If not, check the images for this listing to see if it looks the same as your helmet. Hard Hats have male poppers on the inside of the helmet and female poppers on the liner. Hard Hats should have the words 'Hard Hat' written on the back of the helmet. Hard Hat (Brock Foam) is available in the Bern Baker, Watts, Macon, Muse, Lenox and Brighton.  The liners and details for these are very similar to the EPS Thin Shell helmets

Zip Mold

Zip Mold is unique to Bern and is the most advanced construction offered. It is very lightweight thanks to the liquid injected core surrounded by an ultra thin PVC shell to give a seamless finish. Your helmet should have a label inside stating its construction. If not check the images for this listing see if it looks the same as your helmet. Zip Mold helmets have female poppers on the inside of the helmet and male poppers on the liner. Zip Mold is only available on Bern G2, Cougar 2, Brentwood, Berkeley, Nino and Nina helmets.
