This is a small brass ceiling plate designed to hang chandeliers that weight up to 60kg (this is subject to correct fitting of ceiling plate with the use of screw holes and screws provided) in five different colours to choose from. In order to fit the ceiling plate these screws should go through no more than 12mm of plaster board, the rest should screw into a secure fixed wooden joist in the ceiling.

Two plated 12 x 2" screws, are provided for each ceiling plate.

All of our ceiling plates have been tested to destruction to ensure we give a large safety margin for our customers, this particular hook broke at 420kg and no movement in the hook until 100kg.

Each plate is held together by M12 steel thread and nut, the hook has a screw that locks the hook onto the steel thread to keep it stationary. Electrical flex is able to pass through the steel thread in the center of the hook (diameter 8mm) to enable you to conceal connections above the plate.

Before purchasing this item please make sure that the shackle at the top of the chandelier or chain used to hang chandelier is no thicker than 8mm as the clearance gap of hook on ceiling plate is only 8mm
