For sale is a fun little vase made by KPM in the early
20th century. It is in the shape of an opened tulip flower with the top
part being the blossom in puce mostly and the bottom the leaves with a
twisted stalk sitting on a base with some nice gilding to it. Can't say I
have seen this before but it certainly is a fun piece! The piece is in
superb condition. The blossom part is 4.25 inches wide, 3 inches from
front to back and about 3.5 inches deep. The entire piece is 5.125
inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The vase is marked
underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as
a painter's mark and the usual impressed marks pieces of this period
have.
