MATTED 8 X 10 UNUSED U.S. POSTAGE STAMPS FOR AMERICAN MOTORCYCLES - INDIAN, HARLEY DAVIDSON, CLEVELAND, AND CHOPPER 


These stamps were issued on August 7,2006 in Sturgis, South Dakota.  They feature:

      The Indian which was designed in 1902 and by World War I became  the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world

      The Harley Davidson which was introduced in 1903 and was bought by police and military for speed and power

      The Cleveland which reached a top speed of 40 mph by 1915

      The Chopper which was desired for World War II veterans who wanted light bikes like they'd seen in Europe.  They "chopped" unnecessary parts and the bike became known as the "chopper."

 

Each stamp is in a protective plastic mount.  Stamps are matted in black textured mat in 8 inch by 10 inch size, ready to fit into a standard 8x10 frame.  Comes with COA.   Thanks for looking.
