Vintage, made by NORWALK, one of the premier lock makers of the mid-19th Century, key works just fine, comes with the keeper and both the key and the knob escutcheon.  Very well made, it has been sandblasted to remove all the old dirt or paint and lock was clear coated with lacquer.  Use it like this with the original industrial look or spray paint black or any color you wish. Completely reconditioned. The lock is reversible. 

Box measures about 4 1/4" wide X 3 1/2", keeper is matching. Set back from the edge of the rim lock to the center of the knob post hole is 3 3/8".

Key works fine, safety lock works fine.  

Uncommon to find one this old in such nice condition.

Both the knob and key escutcheon are included.
