Super GTM-RC is the fastest reel in the Shimano rear drag range with a retrieve ratio of between 5.8:1 (4000) and 6.0:1 (2500, 3000). This results in 20% more line retrieved for every turn of the handle making the GTM ideal for fast fishing and repeated casting. The new Shimano Aero concept harnesses the power of Shimano’s strong engineering background and Japanese roots to make a unique statement in high performance reel design. The 3 reels introduced under the Aero Concept umbrella are easy to identify by its oversized spool and rotor design versus its compact body.
