5m Long, this Extension Cable should be plenty long enough to run from a Splitter connected to your Caravan Inlet Point, under your Caravan, to your Awning.
It is built using 2.5mm sq Conductor Arctic Grade Cable and a FUSED 230v 13A 4-Way Adaptor. Note that it is ESSENTIAL that any 13A multi-way adaptor is fused as, if used with high-power appliances, it would be possible to draw the full 16A available from the Supply Bollard through it, overloading it by more than 20% !!!
Also note that, whilst this adaptor is rated at 230v 13A, the TOTAL power drawn by your both your Caravan and through this Extension obviously cannot exceed 16A.
From a technical standpoint, we only ever use the Austrian brand 'PCE' for all our 230v 16A BS/EN/IEC 60309 Connectors and Masterplug / Permaplug 230v 13A Plugs and Sockets. There are of exceptional quality and not like some of the cheap and flimsy 'Far Eastern' sourced items.
In order to ensure maximum power available with minimum volt-drop over long lengths in our 230v 16A Hook-Up Cables, we only ever use 2.5mm sq Cable, NOT 1.5mm sq as many other suppliers do.
Finally, we will NEVER arbitrarily substitute any components within our products and the phrase 'what you see is what you get' most definitely applies to ALL our products.
