For sale here I have 4 foot long adaptor cords made with a new GE cord and new Utilitech receptacle. This cord will allow you to use a clothes dryer receptacle to power something with a 6-50 plug on it.

Optional surge protection is available.

Your 30 amp dryer circuit should allow you to use an inverter welder up to the 140 amp setting, a transformer welder to run at around 120 amps, run up to a 45 amp plasma cutter at full power, an electric car charger or kiln that uses up to 6,000w. Always consult the manufacture manual before using a piece of machinery. If your gadget trips the 30 amp circuit breaker do not under any circumstance replace the breaker with a larger one. Most welders and some plasma cutters require a heavier circuit than what a clothes dryer uses to run at full power but can be ran on a 30 amp circuit at reduced power.
Kiln users consult your kiln's manual, some kilns need much more than 30 amps.
I have used welders, plasma cutter and air compressors on a clothes dryer circuit for years so if you have any questions just ask. I don't just build these I used adaptors exactly like this from 2003 until 2011 when I had my house rewired and had some 6-50 receptacles added.

Shipping is free to U.S. locations. For express shipping add $20.
To get your optional surge protection added select the additional  $5 shipping option upon checkout. This doesn't get the cord to you any faster, it just adds surge protection.
