For sale is a figurine of Venus in the form of a lady
holding an arrow in her right hand and trying to cover herself up with
her left hand made by KPM in the late 18th century. The figure is
superbly modeled and left in the white to show off all that detail! The
figurine is in superb condition with the feather end of the arrow
chipped off. She displays perfectly! The piece is 5 inches tall and
the base is 1.5 inches square. The figurine is marked underneath with
the late 18th century under glaze blue scepter mark as well as the number
28 and in the back of the base you can see the name VENUS lightly
raised. And as well all know Venus was the goddess of love, loving and
all that good stuff :)
