Use: This adapter ring allows vintage Tamron 'Adaptall' 1 and 2 mount lenses to be mounted on Sony NEX (E-mount) camera bodies (e.g. NEX-3 NEX-C3 NEX-F3 NEX-5 NEX-5N NEX-5R NEX-6 NEX-7 etc).
Please note:
- This
adapter will only fit vintage Tamron ADAPTALL I & II lenses, and
therefore will not fit any other 'Tamron' branded lenses

This adapter will only fit Sony NEX (E-mount) cameras, and therefore will not fit any Sony Alpha (A-mount) cameras.
- Any Tamron Adaptall lens attached to a NEX camera cannot be controlled electronically from the camera (i.e. it works in manual focus and manual aperture mode only).

On most
NEX cameras, the 'shutter lock' must be disabled in order to use Tamron Adaptall
lenses. This is because Sony cameras will fail to communicate with the
lens and lock the shutter. The relevant settings
are usually located under the camera's custom settings and it's called
"Shutter Lock" or "Release w/o lens"
