For sale is a figurine made by Ludwigsburg in the later 18th century. It is of a standing and a sitting putto with a nice urn between them. The standing putto is holding a cup while the other putti is sitting one some wheat sheaves. The base is painted green and has some superb fruit garlands along the two sides and front. A nicely modeled and hand painted figure in the typical fashion of this maker which makes this a truly stunning piece! The figurine is marked underneath with the interlaced double C letters. It is 7 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. They figure is in great condition with a small chip to the front top left side corner and some very minor chips to the corners, a small piece of the wheat next to her is chipped and both of their front arms have had work done to them though it was done as well as you could ever hope for. Invisible and it displays perfectly. Amazingly the fruit garland is in great shape!
