Description

A small antique box which unusually, contains both drawing instruments and a selection of watercolour paints, probably used by an architect. In a rosewood box, it is well fitted out internally. The top shelf has the drawing instruments as seen and below this is a layer of painting equipment. The paint cakes have been well used but some bear a faint impression. The drawing instruments and all other included items are as seen. The outer box is in good condition and it comes with a key although it is missing the escutcheon, the age is aprox 1880, probably French, It is a rare survivor. I have tried to take clear photos rather than list every item but please ask if you require any more information.
