This waterproof high efficiency 5W solar panel is perfect for permanent outdoor use to provide free power either directly, such as powering a light or small fan, or for trickle charging 12V battery / battery bank in a motorhome, caravan, car, boat, shed or garden.

The long-lasting, high-efficiency, monocrystalline solar cells and the tough, sealed, aluminium frame will give you years and years of consistent, free power. The waterproof design ensures that the panel can be used in all weather conditions.

The solar panel comes with 2m cable attached to the waterproof connection box at the back and is fitted with a blocking diode to prevent reverse current from the battery to the solar panel at night (no need to disconnect the panel every night)

This solar panel can be used for trickle charging 12V lead acid batteries with capacity 50Ah and higher directly. For smaller batteries a solar charge controller is recommended to prevent overcharging (not included with the solar panel). Without a solar charge controller the state of charge of smaller batteries should be monitored constantly.

Delivery:

  • Please note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. If the courier requires payment of these local charges to complete the delivery, they will be your responsibility as a buyer.
  • Upon receipt of the item, please examine it carefully. In the unlikely event of any damage in transit, please report it to us immediately by email or phone, but in any case no later than 7 days after receipt of the item. To enable us to deal with the courier efficiently, we may ask for some additional details, e.g. photographs of the damage and packaging.

Returns:

  • If you change your mind within the first 30 days of receipt of the item, we will be happy to accept it back and refund your payment. You will need to notify us via email / phone within 30 days of receipt that you intend to return the item, request the return address and send the item back within a further 14 days at your cost. To be eligible for a full refund, the item must be new, unused, undamaged and correctly packaged. Please ensure that we receive the item in its brand new, original condition, i.e. take reasonable care to wrap and protect it on the way back to us.
