Here for sale is a rare E.H. Scott Chassis. Some enthusiasts on one of the antique radio forums helped me identify the piece a late Philharmonic Amp/Power Supply Chassis. It is uncommon in respect to the finish on the power transformer and the plug layout for the speaker connections. I have been told that chrome was in high demand immediately preceding WWII and in the later production years, the PTs were black in some models. If you look at the contours of the power transformer, you will see that it matches the more typical chrome counterparts. The interconnect sockets are rectangular instead of round and accept Jones plugs. This chassis is very similar to a Laureate but with the layout and tube compliment of a Philharmonic. This chassis is set up for 5U4 rectifiers and a quad of 6L6 output tubes. Tubes are included what you see is what you get !!!!!

This chassis is in fairly rough shape. I polished the chrome sections with semi-chrome to reveal the extent of the corrosion. It looks like some cables may have been swapped out over the years. Its also possible that some modifications have been made that deviate from the original schematic. this amplifier/power supply is working at this time and will be when it arrives to you but due to the nature of this item there are no returns accepted and no warranties offer.

if you have any questions please make sure to ask before you bid.

I tested the transformers and chokes. Results Below...
