The TC4 headset was conceived on our 1st exhibition stand in Counter Terror, London in 2007. A member of the Singapore Police force visited our stand and required a headset that would blend in when worn in public.The headset must be functional with a hidden microphone and a finger PTT switch but it must also appear to look as if they were just listening to their iPod or Walkman.
Our first model of the TC4 had two, captive, black ear speakers. Early feedback indicated that officers wanted to use branded earphones as they were even less
conspicuous and so on the next production run the earphones were
replaced with a 3.5mm jack socket. Suddenly we had produced a very
versatile headset that could be used with any number of accessories
from iPod headphones to acoustic tube earpieces, from standard issue
ear hangers to ear defenders and induction neck loops.
This model of our TC4 headset has a 3.5mm socket and will accept any of the listening devices below

- This covert headset for Motorola MTP850S radios features a standard 3.5mm earpiece socket for connecting a fully covert induction loop, an ipod style headset or a conventional curly tube earpiece. The discreet microphone can be hidden under clothing and the PTT switch with velcro attachment concealed up a sleeve.
PTT
The PTT block can be worn in the sleeve of a shirt and finger operated. It is supplied with a velcro roll for fastening.
MICROPHONE
The high quality tie clip microphone is fitted with a low profile pin clip and is worn under the shirt or upper garments.
The Mic and the PTT each have 36" thin cable so the unit can be fitted comfortably and hidden as required.
The PTT switch is tested to 1,000,000 presses.
