Lovely, antique, Chinese, red lacquer food/wedding box/basket featuring decorative designs of peaches, leaves and butterflies all along the lid and top.
The lid has an hexagonal accent.
The base of the basket is signed.
Measures ~ 11.5" tall x 10.5" wide.
It has some general vintage wear, a few cosmetic issues such as the lacquer has faded, a few wood splits (please refer to pictures) and the bamboo handles have rub marks.
