This ThinkPad is a reliable X61 notebook. It’s in great condition and performs reliably. It has been my personal laptop for the last 3 years. The screen is bright and crisp in excellent condition. The keyboard is showing normal wear with shine in the space bar. Fully functional & has that legendary ThinkPad touch. There are a few very minor scratches in the case and lid – 9 on a 10 scale. No cracks & no dents in the case. The screen rotating hinge is tight. Good lid hatch & lever. The battery holds a charge working for 2 - 4 hours. The laptop works great on the AC / DC power converter. A CD-ROM, DVD, 2nd hard drive or 2nd battery can be inserted into a modular internal UltraSlim Bay (dock included with CD-RW / DVD installed).
This is an excellent light weight & highly portable laptop for Internet, Email and general computing. Excellent for home, as well as student or traveling business use. This is a known reliable computer, unlike units offered by refurbish companies. Fresh load of Windows 10 Pro and OpenOffice 4.11 that opens & saves files as Word, Excel or PowerPoint files. I have used Windows 8 Pro on this computer & it also works well.
