We brought this back with us from Delhi in the early 80's,  back when the cabin crew was (seemed) happy to accommodate big odd-ball items like spears, tables and and huge wooden bowls. It was much in the same condition when we bought it; weathered beyond function, but a thing of beauty. The lateral edges have been carved in such a way that makes it clear that it was meant to be carried from place to place, probably within a household. If we had to guess we would say that it is a bowl for letting dough rise. 23 x 11 x 6 " / 58 x 28 x 15 cm  5120 g 11.4 lbs kc314

**We always welcome returns for any reason within 14 days.  We personally think that it can be hard to buy with just photos, so if you don't love it once you get it in your hands, just let us know.  We aim to please!

**always happy to combine shipping too!

Though we offer only high quality merchandise because of the nature of old ethnic treasures this item may contain some imperfections, these just add to the character and authenticity of the item.  Please see photos for detail and feel free to contact me with any questions.

FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Depending upon the value and weight of your purchase and the customs requirements of the buyer's country I may be able to offer First Class Shipping. This is a less expensive option but it is not allowed on all international purchases. Please contact me for detail. Thank you.
