The mirrored surface is not glass. It is a sheet of adhesive vinyl that has a shiny mirrored finish. PLEASE KNOW THAT IT IS NOT A CLEAR REFLECTION AT ALL. It is like looking at yourself through rippling water. (That is my best explanation.

I thought about cutting a stained glass mirror but I haven’t dabbled in cutting glass for about 20 years. I’d probably cut myself A Lot, waste a lot of glass.... and if you dropped it just 1 time it would break.

In my humble opinion... this is an Heirloom Gift ornament. To be passed down for generations of Harry Potter Lovers. The only one I’ve seen when I searched for a Mirror of Erised ornament is not like the one in the films. It’s very cartoon style.
