About the Color

This body has a unique, true neon green finish.  It is UV reactive and glows under a blacklight.  We have worked with the company, and use real Dayglo brand color (the original color suppliers to IBZ for the original neon production Jems).  The color is extremely difficult to photograph, and when viewed under different lighting conditions can look completely different (some lights will make it look blinding neon, some will make it look forest green- this is the nature of the paint and how our eyes view it).

How does the color compare to the original factory neons?-
The original guitars are now 30+ years old.  They have a polyester finish that no matter how it was stored (even in a case with zero light exposure), will yellow and will develop a patina. All polyester finishes mature over time, there is no way around it.  No matter how hard collectors will delude themselves over "mint" specimens, and what the "correct" color is, the color on the factory neon guitars will never be the same as when they were first purchased off the showroom floor in the 80s.  Our Neon Green color is an excellent, modern choice, with a non-yellowing urethane based finish that will delight lovers of bright colored, neon guitars.

All wiring holes are predrilled.
