An early cool Shimano Deore XT seatpost - in the very awkward size of 26.6.  This size may fit some vintage mountain bikes with heavier tubing, but this post will certainly fit a tremendous number of high-end French bikes that were built with light tubing.  Since French tubing is smaller diameter, the 26.6 is a common size for higher end French bikes.
