On vintage kits decals may have lost effectiveness,

If boxes have been crushed and are sealed, we can not state that the plastic parts have no breaks.

boxes/packaging/bashes/crushing/rips/fading/stains may have other age related ware.

if model kits come with glue pod, these will have been removed as they are no good for making kit due to age.
