This product is a SPECIALIZED CTIA to OMTP (or vice versa) 4 conductor cable. Most devices need a STRAIGHT THROUGH extension cable. Use this adapter cable if you have a device that uses the CTIA wiring standard and need to convert to the OMTP wiring standard (or vice versa)
