Most of us have different guitars for different reasons. I play theater music, and needed a guitar with spot on intonation, to be in tune with the brass, reed and stringed instruments. This is the one I used. The neck is as good as the Core guitar I replaced it with after a number of years. 2004 was the first year for this model, and that is what this is.  The body and neck are mahogany, and the guitar is light as a feather. The nut was upgraded to a graph tech Tusq nut. There are many other upgrades on the guitar. The pickups are 2012 G&B SE 245's. I really liked the balance of the sound. They are incredibly even, tonewise. You can crank this and rock out, then turn around and drop the volume to get a nice clean sound. If space was tight, I didn't bother to take an acoustic into the pit. All the pots have been changed to US made CTS. There is a smoked nickel pickup cover on the bass pickup.  The output jack was also upgraded to a CTS, with a heavier brass jack plate installed. All work was done by Philtone Music in Baltimore.  There are hipshot locking locking studs to remove any play from the one piece bridge. This makes a huge difference in the tone. It has the standard 2 volume, 2 tone control setup. There is one chip on the top, and the lower bout on the bass side has a repaired chip as well. Please look at the photos. The guitar is in overall good shape, and has been used and enjoyed. The neck is clear and clean, and the frets show almost no wear. I promised myself I'll buy another Silver metal flake PRS some day. This looks great under stage lights. I'm selling several guitars to pay for a new one, so check my listings. A newer PRS gig bag will be included. The original was ratty looking so I'm sending it in a better one. It has been strung with 9's since I got it. Pull it out of the bag, and take it right to the gig. Shipping will be on Wednesday after payment. Because of past problems, no first time or foreign buyers, with shipping to Conus only. It will be sent UPS ground, insured. As always, all sales are final. This guitar is also for sale locally, and the listing will be removed if it does sell.
