Upfront disclosure: The focusing feels a little tighter than normal. It's nothing major but because of this it does not feel constantly smooth throughout the entire focus range as it should. However the focusing does still work.
This is a manual focus Nikon Nikkor 50mm f1.8 Ai-S lens (their Pancake Version). It'll fit all Nikon SLR 35mm Film Cameras that use manual focus lenses such as the Nikon FE, FE2, FM, FM2, F3, F3HP, FM10, FE10, FA, FG, FG20, EM Cameras.
Cosmetically the lens looks mint minus with no paint wear, no dings, no dents and no engravings. All printed letters and numbers are clean, bright and complete. The glass is clean with no scratches, no fungus, no haze and no black debris inside. The focusing works but does not quite feel perfect as stated in the above disclosure. The apertures are snappy and clean with no leaky oil on the blades. It comes with a Nikon 52mm front cap and a Nikon back cap.
