This is a vintage Puma hunting knife with a stag handle and a leather sheath.
It measures 9 1/4" long, blade is 4 7/8" long, handle is 4 1/4" long. There are no makers marks on the blade or handle of the knife.
It is preowned very well used item. It shows signs of use, such as surface scratches, scuffs, and patina to the blade and metal on the handle. The handle has surface scratches, scuffs, and grime and settled dirt from use and age. The leather sheath has puma and a puma's head on the front of it. It is marked made in Germany DBGM1865840 on the back of it. It shows signs of use and age, such as wear to the leather, scuffs, the stitching is no longer attached all the way through the sides and the strap on the top that locks the knife to the sheath is broken. The knife is being sold as is, for repairs or restore. No returns accepted. It came from a local estate and was part of a large collection of knives.
