Amazing condition with original box Power Mac G4 Cube model M7642LL/A serial #XAO351Y2K59. I need to thin out my collection so this is wonderful piece of Apple history is up for sale. This G4 cube boots up and runs just fine. I verified that everything works as it should. This is the upgraded cube running the 450MHz G4. This Mac does not have the airport card, those were optional, but it does have an RJ45 Ethernet connection (100Mbps) so you can use it via an Ethernet connection or add an airport card and go wireless, they are easy to find and on this Mac, easy to install. The original speakers are not included, I did not get them when I bought this computer.
The previous owner left many personal files on this Mac so I deleted them and emptied the trash bin but the programs are still installed and working including PhotoShop 6.0. In looking at the files on it, this computer does not appear to have been used since late 2001. This would explain why the acrylic is in such good condition, there are only minor scratches and scuffs which is why I bought this unit. The pro mouse and keyboard are also in great shape with good, clear silkscreened print and only minor discoloration (brownish hue) to the clear cables. The power cable that connects to the external power supply shows some discoloration which is common for that part as it is clear and gets warm. It is worth mentioning that all of these cables are correct and original. I looked at many G4 cubes before I bought this one, most were badly scratched up and "hazy" looking, not this one!
The original box is included but it is worn and has the bar code piece cut out (rebate?) but shows the "pass FST" sticker (stamped 8/30/2000) with details on this Mac, the original shipping label. To keep the box from any further damage I wrapped it in shrink wrap (we still have a little winter left) and used parcel paper on top of that. The top styrofoam insert is gone so I have added packing materials to get your Mac safely to its new home. I cleaned, sanitized and wrapped the computer, keyboard, mouse, power supply and cords.

The G4 Cube was a foray into the busines market, as well as an answer to those who wanted an iMac-like machine, with more choice in monitors.
