Nephrite Jade Pendant, approx. 21x31mm triangular shaped cabochon in Sterling Silver.  Elegant, flowing silver ribbons decorate the setting.

This stone is very well known, especially in Egypt and China.  It gets its name from the Greek “nephros” or kidney and ancient people believed it to treat kidney diseases.  There are many deposits around the world.  This stone is from Russia.
