After initial driver installation, it becomes plug and play. This cable extends/mirrors your workstation to another screen. You get simple screen connectivity without extra adaptor and cables.

The adapter cable acts as an external VGA video card, converts your desktop or laptop computer into a multi-monitor setup. It allows you to connect a VGA enabled monitor, projector, or HDTV to a host computer to extend or mirror the desktop display for a variety of applications, such as office, class, conference, internet browsing, view documents and more. Enabling a cost-saving multi-monitor or dual display option, you can directly connect to a second display, and DO NOT need an extra VGA adapter or cable.

Reminders:

1. Convert video signal from USB-to-VGA ONLY, NOT VGA to USB
2. Only operate 800x600 over USB 2.0, please make sure your computer has a USB 3.0 port
3. Some Docking Station or Hub may have compatibility issues which need to install USB 3.0 xHCI Host Controller Driver
4. Out-of-date drivers may cause the USB 3.0 operate at USB 2.0 speed with compatibility issues
5. If the second display resolution is different with your computer setting, you should adjust the resolution for both monitors to achieve ideal result
6. If connected to a TV or Projector directly, please check your device’s native resolution and then configure your computer screen resolution the same.
7. Not support other device with USB 3.0 port such as PS3/PS4, Xbox, Chromebook, Roku, Android or Linux etc.
